  • January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month The A21 Campaign

    One of the most influential and defining moments in founder of The A21 Campaign Christine Caine’s life was when she went to meet the first group of girls ever rescued by The A21 Campaign. As she talked to the girls one of the girls broke down in tears of sorrow and anger and asked her “Why didn’t you come sooner?” The only answer Christine had was “I didn’t know before.” (which she did not verbalize knowing that wasn’t an acceptable excuse). It was a moment that changed everything, it was a moment that opened her eyes to what God was calling her to do. From that day forward she dedicated her life to educating people on the evils of human trafficking and has become a voice for the ones still in captivity because the more people who know about it the more people to join in the fight to end it. In this life we are accountable for what we know and we can no longer say we don’t know. But it is up to each of us to decide what we are going to do with what we know.

  • God Hears You

    Psalm 17:6-9
    I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;
    turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.
    7 Show me the wonders of your great love,
    you who save by your right hand
    those who take refuge in you from their foes.
    8 Keep me as the apple of your eye;
    hide me in the shadow of your wings
    9 from the wicked who are out to destroy me,
    from my mortal enemies who surround me.

    No matter where you are or what you’ve done God hears you, God sees you, and God loves you. There is nothing that goes on on this earth that God does not know about. God knows where you’ve been, where you are, and where you are going. God sees you, every prayer no matter how big or small God is listening and He cares for you. God hears your cries and knows your heart. God is with you always and He is faithful to His children. Know that you are loved.

  • Jesus Prayed/Prayer is Vital for Our Spiritual Health

    Jesus prayed, He spent time with the Father in prayer often for strength and direction. If Jesus went into a place of quiet to spend time with the Father in prayer, then how much more time should we spend with God the Father in prayer ? Prayer is vital for our Spiritual health. If you are feeling weak come before the Father in worship and prayer and He will strengthen you.

    Luke 5:16
    New International Version (NIV)

    “16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”

    7 My salvation and my honor depend on God[c];

  • Proverbs 3:1-20

    Proverbs 3:1-20
    New International Version (NIV)

    Wisdom Bestows Well-Being
    My son, do not forget my teaching,…
    but keep my commands in your heart,
    2 for they will prolong your life many years
    and bring you peace and prosperity.
    3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
    bind them around your neck,
    write them on the tablet of your heart.
    4 Then you will win favor and a good name
    in the sight of God and man.
    5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
    6 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.
    7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
    fear the Lord and shun evil.
    8 This will bring health to your body
    and nourishment to your bones.
    9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
    with the firstfruits of all your crops;
    10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
    and your vats will brim over with new wine.
    11 My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
    and do not resent his rebuke,
    12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
    as a father the son he delights in.
    13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
    those who gain understanding,
    14 for she is more profitable than silver
    and yields better returns than gold.
    15 She is more precious than rubies;
    nothing you desire can compare with her.
    16 Long life is in her right hand;
    in her left hand are riches and honor.
    17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
    and all her paths are peace.
    18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;
    those who hold her fast will be blessed.
    19 By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,
    by understanding he set the heavens in place;
    20 by his knowledge the watery depths were divided,
    and the clouds let drop the dew.

  • 1 John 4:1-6 (NIV)

    1 John 4:1-6 (NIV)
    4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
    4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
