  • Our Nation, Sight, Vision, Our Eyes

    Proverbs 29:18
“Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.”

This nation is suffering because of its lack of vision of Who God is. Our nation is losing itself because it’s losing sight of God. Why are we losing sight of God? Because we are too busy trying to figure out how far we can push the line before what we are doing is considered sin or wrong. Instead of focusing on the things we want to do or think we want to do we need to start focusing on what God is instructing us to do and what His Word says is right and just. We are losing sight of what our country was founded on and what we as a church are suppose to do to preserve it’s traditional values and morals. This nation was founded on God and until we give it back to Him it will continue to fall apart and fall into a downward spiral. We can be the change, but first we need to ask God for the vision. We need to see Him again and we can only do that y repenting and asking Him to reveal Himself to us once more. God wants us to be leaders, so let’s start leading. God wants this nation’s heart back.
In Exodus 20:4-6 God says “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.” This nation has put it’s list for sin over God and God doesn’t take it lightly. God wants our souls back and we need to ask for His forgiveness and ask for His sight back and when we do He will forgive us just as He has promised in
1 John 1:19 where it says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” Our nation can be saved but it starts with us and a repentant heart to our God and Saviour. Through Jesus we have hope and a future.image

  • A Man With A Dream and A Woman With Vision

One of the biggest make or breaks for many Godly men in the Bible was a woman. An unGodly woman brought the man to ruin, but the Godly woman brought him honor and great support. God created the woman to be the helper. Ladies please be a Godly woman for your husband. There’s only two beings he’ll share his dreams with God and you. He’ll take you at your word, don’t be the reason he fails or fails to try. When making a decision that God has instructed him for his family he’ll need all the respect and support you can give. Cause you have the power to make or break him with your words and actions.

  • The Cost

The cost of not following Jesus is a lot higher than the cost of following Him. To be out from under His grace and forgiveness is a burden much too heavy for the human heart to carry.

  • How Long: A Wayward Nation

How much longer will this nation call what is good evil and what is evil good? How much longer will the church sit back and be silent while the nation redefines our culture legalizing gay marriage and saying people like Bruce Jenner are heroes and our soldiers are called scum?
A nation where Christians are forced to go against their beliefs because of political correctness. Where authority is questioned and lawlessness runs rampant. This happened in the Bible during Elijah’s time. When Elijah went to Mt. Carmel Israel was in a time where they had forsaken God’s commands and turned to worshipping Baal. Jezebel was out executing the prophets of God. This nation is being punished greatly for its choices. The Bible talks about calling good evil and evil good in Isaiah 5:20 it says “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” God is not pleased with our decisions and our rebellion and we are suffering greatly for our choices. It’s up to the church to stop sleeping and stand up for Truth, to stand up for God’s Word and God’s laws. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 it says “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” If we repent and ask God for forgiveness he will bring healing to our land. As Christians we must ask God to help us be courageous enough to tell the truth and lead the way to repentance. God will show Himself to this nation and He will have the last word so choose wisely which side you will be on. The Bible says God is an all consuming fire anything that belongs to Him remains but anything that is not will be destroyed.

  • Nail Scarred Hands

Scars can be a reminder of a painful past or a symbol of a glorious future victory. It all depends on how you look at it. Jesus’ nail scarred hands remind me of the victory I have in Him. The victory I have because of the pain He endured at the cross. Jesus’ painful time leading up to and at the cross left scars on the hands of the Saviour of the world and it is in those scars that I can overcome.
Because Jesus told us He wouldn’t take us out of the world but that He would give us the strength to overcome it. We experience pain but the pain is but a moment before the victory. My scars remind me of all He’s given me victory over.

  • God’s Provision/The Heart Of God

Yesterday God gave me an awesome opportunity and in that opportunity He provided as well. Every time I get my paycheck I always pull aside a tithe. The amount of the tithe depending on what God shows me to give. This last week I had some things I needed to get so I had to pull extra money out of my check to do so. Which by the end left me with $20 for myself which needed to last me two weeks. For this weeks tithe I felt like God was showing me to give $40, but because I was so short I was very much tempted to only give $30 because it would have been considered 10%. I thought the extra $10 would help me get by better. But after a quick run through in my mind I stopped and told myself “no! There is a lot you can do but cheating God is not one of them. I will not take from God for myself.” So I gave the full $40. Not too much after that the money I had set aside for myself for the two weeks had dwindled to $5 and I still have a lot of days to go.
But yesterday it snowed and as much as I hate snow God used it to bless me. In my town there is an ordinance that the snow must be shoveled off the sidewalk within 24 hrs. So whenever it snows my neighbors and I all help each other shovel snow to get it done faster.
My next door neighbor is unable to shovel his driveway and sidewalk so my brother and I always go next door and shovel for him. We never ask for anything we just do it knowing he really needs our help. Yesterday he insisted on paying us (which we never ask for and refuse if he ever offers but he was very adamant about us taking the money). I was surprised at this not because he isn’t a generous man but because we’ve always had this understanding that helping each other is what neighbors do. He insisted we take the money and so we did and he gave me $20. I thought back to the beginning of the week when I had thought to take $10 from my tithe and I realized that God had provided for me because I had chosen to give to Him what He had asked instead of holding onto it selfishly. I trusted that God would do what needed to be done with this tithe and that He had laid the amount on my heart for a reason. Because I was faithful, God provided for me just like He promises. You see, we don’t give to God to get and we don’t give to God because God needs our money. God doesn’t need our money but what He wants is our obedience. Tithing is for others but also for us. When we give we are trusting God to use it for His purposes, we are trusting Him to take care of our needs, we are helping others in their need, we are learning to be selfless, to give of ourselves, and we are getting a glimpse of God’s heart. God loves to give to His children and by giving to others we get to see that, we get to be a part of it. We learn selflessness and compassion. God gave us Jesus, a Promise, Salvation, He didn’t hold back. God provides all His children’s needs. From the Spiritual to the physical there is no need that God can not fill.

  • God Will Lead/God’s Calling For Your Life

Last night God gave me a Revelation for Bible study that was so last minute even I was blown away by what He had coming out of my mouth. So blessed to serve a God who is not only full of amazing surprises but never leaves His children without. I had a teaching all set up to talk about and God was laying Gideon on my heart but I feared doing so as having read Judges 6&7 a week before and hadn’t seen any way to incorporate him into what I had planned to say. All the way up until the last song in worship I was going to teach from 2 Chronicles but God told me no teach about Gideon. Having no idea what I was going to say or where God was going with it, I completely trusted Him and lead my group in the reading of Gideon. A few verses in I still didn’t know as then all of the sudden We hit that one verse where The Holy Spirit just said “This one, I want you to teach on this one. The Called” and that’s what I did. Everything that came out of my mouth was all the Holy Spirit was showing me to say and it came out as if I had rehearsed but I didn’t. That is what is so cool about God and His Holy Spirit, He never leaves you empty when you trust Him and follow Him without holding back. I could have easily been afraid and stuck with what I knew, but I didn’t. And God revealed Himself in a way that resonated with each and everyone of us. What I’m saying is God is so amazing and we should never be afraid to follow Him in His will for our lives in every moment if God instructs you to do something do it. He won’t lead you into something that He won’t see you through to the end.
The message from last night is you are all called, don’t question it and don’t be afraid to go after what God has called you to do. God will see you through to the end. Don’t be afraid, seek Him and He will lead you in the way He should have you go.
In the end “Who are we to question whom God calls because it’s not our call to make its God’s” don’t question who God calls especially yourself. Go for it God knows what He’s doing.

  • For Everything There Is A Season

Whenever I feel God moving me towards something I must go because if I don’t I find no satisfaction in the place I tried to set up camp. In life there are seasons and God moves us from one to the other every season is a new experience full of God’s great opportunities for our lives. Sometimes we are sad or even scared to leave the old season but God has a plan and we must trust that where He is taking us is even better. God will never take you out of better to worse.
