Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai means Blessed is He Who Comes In The Name Of The Lord – Pray for Israel

Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai means “Blessed is He Who Comes In The Name Of The Lord.” The Lord has been laying this song on my heart for a week. We need to pray for Israel that they may come to Jesus for they are God’s chosen people and when He returns He is coming for them. A Messianic Jewish person can be mightily used by God because not only do they understand the ways of the Old Testament, but they also know the New Testament. A great example of this was Paul. Paul was Jewish until his conversion. When Saul became a Christian (later changing his name to Paul) he was used mightily by God. Paul knew God’s laws and he knew the traditions practiced by the Jewish people. After Paul was saved God gave him revelation of Jesus and how Jesus fulfilled the Law. Making him able to witness to Jews and Gentiles.

Another thing I want to bring up because I know a lot of people get this confused. A lot of people get mad at the Jews for killing Jesus, but the thing is the Jews had to be the ones to offer Jesus as a sacrifice. Specifically The High Priest which is why Pilate washed his hands of the matter. If Pilate were to have sent Jesus to the cross He wouldn’t have been an acceptable sacrifice. The High Priest was the one who had to offer Jesus as the sacrifice, but the High Priest didn’t have the legal authority to put Jesus to death. Pilate had the legal authority to send Jesus to the cross but he could not offer Jesus as the sacrifice. Which is why God willed it that Pilate found no fault with Jesus and only sent Him to the cross because it’s what the High Priest and the people wanted. Leaving the matter to the High Priest and the Jewish people. Basically what it all comes down to is it was God’s will for Jesus to be crucified by the Jews, it was prophesied about, and it had to be done the way it was done. Every detail was important for Jesus to be an acceptable sacrifice to God.

In ending I want to say that God loves all men and He doesn’t want anyone to perish. God’s grace has come out to us through Jesus Christ. Jesus saves all men who come to Him. But Israel is the Apple of God’s eye (Zechariah 2:8) they are the chosen people. Anyone who opposes Israel opposes God and His chosen people. Which is why we need to pray for Israel and spread the Gospel to the Jewish people. They need to know Jesus just as we know Him.

Zechariah 2:8-13
8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye— 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.
10 “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord. 11 “Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. 12 The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

Revelation 21:1-8
New International Version (NIV)
A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Baruch ha ba B’shem Adonai
Blessed is He who comes
Baruch ha ba B’shem Adonai
Who comes in the
Name of the Lord

Now arise O Lord
Come to Your resting place
You and the Ark of Your might
Then we will rejoice
As we’re clothed
With Your righteousness
And celebrate aloud

Who comes in the name of the Lord

Come come come
