  • The Power Of Worship

    There I a deeper worship. A worship where it’s just you and God, no one else and all the cares of the world just break away. Where the chains that have entangled you are broken off and destroyed. Where your heart and your thoughts are completely focused on God and He is working on your behalf. Renewing your heart and your mind, strengthening you in His Love and by His Holy Spirit. There is no greater experience than this one, the moment of total surrender to God. There is power and freedom in surrendering to God. It is something you can not explain to someone but must be experienced for themselves for them to understand. There is a reverence toward God and His Holy Spirit we must have in worship when God is speaking to us and moving we must be silent and we must be still. It is respect for our God and Saviour Who truly deserves it. We must look at ourselves and ask “Do I show God the Love and respect He deserves when I worship Him? Do I fully surrender my heart and thoughts focusing completely on Him or is my heart and thoughts wandering focused on other things?” These are important things to ask ourselves if we ever want to enter into a deeper level of worship with God. To come before God in worship is to come before the throne to enter the Holy of Holies. Jesus won that back for us when He died on the cross for our sins. Only the High Priest could enter before Jesus because man’s sin wasn’t allowed before the throne of God, wasn’t allowed in the Holy of Holies. But Jesus saved us from our sins and His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection now makes us pure and forgiven in God’s eyes and now we may come freely an boldly before the Throne of God. May we understand this honor and respect it with our whole being.

  • Isaiah 40:28b-31 Trust In The Lord/He Will Give You Rest (Accompanying Song: Rest By Beckah Shae)

    Isaiah 40:28b-31 (NIV)
    The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
    He will not grow tired or weary,
    and his understanding no one can fathom.
    29 He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
    30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
    31 but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
    They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

    Today trust in these Words, trust in this promise. Trust that God will give you rest and strengthen you. No matter what you are struggling with or going through God is with you and if you trust in Him He will give you rest, He will give you strength. God is not blind to your troubles nor is He deaf to your cries. He sees you, He hears you, and He is with you. God promises that He will never leave you nor forsake you (in good times and bad God is with you). Trust Him to bring you through this time in your life and that when He brings you through you will be stronger. You will be better able to help others. For it is in times of struggle that we learn to depend on God and it is in the victories that He gives us through Jesus that we can give testimony and bare witness to what He has done for us.

  • Give Thanks/Sing Praises To Jesus (Accompanying Song: Give Thanks By Don Moen)

    A song of Worship for today ! God laid this song on my heart today. It is a song I grew up with and it reminds me of when I was little and my dad would listen to his worship cassettes while he did yard work in the backyard and I would be swinging on my swing singing the songs.

    May you remember the sacrifice and Greatest act of Love in the whole world. That Jesus Christ God’s only Son died on the cross for your sins taking the punishment that you deserved. Saving you from your sins and eternal separation from Him. In Jesus you are forgiven, healed, strengthened, victorious, and Loved. Praise and give thanks to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Who is worthy to be praised yesterday, today, and forever !
