  • God Has Shown Himself Faithful

    Psalm 34:4 NIV
“I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”

God has shown Himself to be faithful in my life over and over again. There is not one situation that I’ve gone through that God has not been there and hasn’t brought me out a victor in some way. I’m so thankful for all God has done for me in the past year. And if I could say one thing I would say: Turn to God. He is the only one who can take your broken heart and fix it, He is the only one who can Love you the way you need to be loved. God is the only One who can save you and if you ever try to say otherwise you will be sadly disappointed. There is nothing out there in this world for you, there is nothing that can fill you and satisfy the longing in your heart except Jesus. Jesus is the only Way and only He can make you whole again. The void you feel in your heart is there because you won’t let God fill it. Things won’t make you happy, people won’t make you happy, but God gives a joy that can not be explained with words. A joy that is there even when everything is falling apart. God has a purpose for your life and He wants you to live the wonderful life He has for you. All you have to do is give it to Him and you shall have what He has for you. God is faithful to keep His promises and I love Him with all of my heart.

  • Nail Scarred Hands

Scars can be a reminder of a painful past or a symbol of a glorious future victory. It all depends on how you look at it. Jesus’ nail scarred hands remind me of the victory I have in Him. The victory I have because of the pain He endured at the cross. Jesus’ painful time leading up to and at the cross left scars on the hands of the Saviour of the world and it is in those scars that I can overcome.
Because Jesus told us He wouldn’t take us out of the world but that He would give us the strength to overcome it. We experience pain but the pain is but a moment before the victory. My scars remind me of all He’s given me victory over.

  • The Power Of Worship

There I a deeper worship. A worship where it’s just you and God, no one else and all the cares of the world just break away. Where the chains that have entangled you are broken off and destroyed. Where your heart and your thoughts are completely focused on God and He is working on your behalf. Renewing your heart and your mind, strengthening you in His Love and by His Holy Spirit. There is no greater experience than this one, the moment of total surrender to God. There is power and freedom in surrendering to God. It is something you can not explain to someone but must be experienced for themselves for them to understand. There is a reverence toward God and His Holy Spirit we must have in worship when God is speaking to us and moving we must be silent and we must be still. It is respect for our God and Saviour Who truly deserves it. We must look at ourselves and ask “Do I show God the Love and respect He deserves when I worship Him? Do I fully surrender my heart and thoughts focusing completely on Him or is my heart and thoughts wandering focused on other things?” These are important things to ask ourselves if we ever want to enter into a deeper level of worship with God. To come before God in worship is to come before the throne to enter the Holy of Holies. Jesus won that back for us when He died on the cross for our sins. Only the High Priest could enter before Jesus because man’s sin wasn’t allowed before the throne of God, wasn’t allowed in the Holy of Holies. But Jesus saved us from our sins and His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection now makes us pure and forgiven in God’s eyes and now we may come freely an boldly before the Throne of God. May we understand this honor and respect it with our whole being.
